A new short from Field 11. "Sonata" is the short story of a troubled musician struggling to find a place to rehearse. During his search he finds more than he expected or wanted. Filming dates are set for late September 2010 and the film should be complete soon after. It is directed by Matt Morgan, written by Jordan Rimmer, produced by Adam Emerson and Christopher Jackson, edited by Luke Lashley, with cinematography by Jake Ladehoff. This is the first in a trio of non related short films set to be produced by the end of 2010, eventually leading into a much larger, still secretive project.
Our most recently completed project is a 30 minute long film about a girl, blind since birth, who gains her vision without explanation. The film follows the changes in her life thereafter.
The project took nearly a year from concept to completion. It is written and directed by Matt Morgan, produced by Adam Emerson, executive produced by Christopher Jackson, with cinematography and editing by Matt Morgan and lighting design by Jake Ladehoff. It also features a fantastic musical score by S. W. Ames, engineered and produced by Joey Geisel. It was recently accepted into the 2010 Texandance International Film Festival, and we are anxiously awaiting the outcome.
