Field 11- About Us

Field 11 Studios was started in 2004 by Matt Morgan as a name to produce projects under, both entertainment and business related. From its beginning it grew to a slightly larger endeavor, involving other filmmakers for different projects along the way. Field 11 has since become a fully legitimized company, with projects ranging from feature films in the works to corporate videos on many levels. Though many people along the way have contributed to different works for different amounts of time, a more consistent group has recently fallen into place. In addition to Matt Morgan; Adam Emerson, Christopher Jackson, Jake Ladehoff, and Jordan Rimmer have come along side as part of the group to work on projects. While everyone has their areas of expertise, they try to vary positions to an extent so that not only the company itself grows, but the people within it do as well. In the future, Field 11 hopes to be making films and other forms of artistic media full time. The group is actively working towards that and is doing their best to produce quality work along the way.

Matt heads up Field 11 and typically works as a writer and director for the projects. In addition to those, he enjoys cinematography and editing as well as visual effects, and has held positions in those fields on not only his own projects, but outside ones as well. He has been making films for over 6 years now and plans to do so as long as he possibly can. He is a senior in high school and hopes to attend film school upon graduating. Unless of course some short cut to a film career comes along and film school can be skipped. Either way, he hopes to write and direct feature films as a career for the rest of his life.

Adam has worked with Matt and Field 11 for what seems like forever at this point. While he is on the business/ producing end of most projects, he never fails to have strong creative input in every area of work. Adam has also been involved in filmmaking for over 6 years. He plans to continue making films for the foreseeable future as a part of Field 11. He hopes to major in business for film in college and to continue producing films and other forms of entertainment as a long time career afterword.

Christopher bridges the gap between the practical and creative sides of projects. While he is heavily involved in the practical aspects of making crazy ideas come to life, he also provides a necessary overall opinion of the creative work and the outcome of it. It could be said that he helps keep a healthy balance between what we want to be possible and we know is possible. Christopher has been making films since the dawn of time and graduated film school in 2004. He is an award winning filmmaker who has experience in both narrative and documentary work.

Jake has worked on the visual side of projects primarily so far. He has worked as a lighting designer and is now working as a director of photography on upcoming projects. In addition to that, he offers input in the writing process and post production process as well. He is currently enrolled in film school at the University of Texas at Arlington and graduates in 2013. In addition to work on Field 11 projects, Jake makes films and other videos on his own. He plans to continue filmmaking as a career and is involved in multiple upcoming projects with Field 11.

Jordan has worked with many of the other members for a number of years now. He is known for being very creative in the writing and idea process and has recently become quite a screenwriter. One of his personal scripts is currently in the production process under Field 11 Studios and he is involved in a few more upcoming projects as well. Jordan has also offered his services as a musician to many of the scores for our films as a percussionist and general music consultant. He is attending Texas A&M University for chemical engineering and graduates 2013.
